Germán Vera Concha, DPhil Student
Germán Vera Concha is a DPhil student affiliated to OxCarre. His doctoral research, under the supervision of Professor Tony Venables, examines how taxation decisions affect production and investment in the natural resources industry.
Germán completed an MBA and an MPhil in Economics at the University of Oxford. He also holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and a diploma in Chemical Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In the past he has worked as an asset manager, both for the private and public sectors, as well as an executive manager in the maritime industry in Chile.
